A forty day devotional which starts with the plot to murder Jesus and ends at the ressurection. Each reading is in easy to understand plain English and takes about 2 minutes to read. There are some minor formatting errors that do not detract terribly from the experience.

My childhood favorite!

We received this book today. I thought it would be a great book for my 7 year old daughter and I to read together, since it was one of my favorites as a child. My boys joined us and we're begging me not to stop reading! It's a great story for young girls to read, it keeps their spirits and imaginations alive and healthy! I won't ruin the book for you but if you have a daughter, you need this book!

This is a classic story about a girl growing up on the frontier. Although there are differences between Caddie's family and lifestyle and those of Laura Ingalls in the Little House books, readers who enjoy the Little House books will also enjoy reading about Caddie..

Enduring Appeal

This book continues to delight children many, many years after it was first published. As a child growing up it wasmy favorite book. Being a teacher I have introduced countless children to the antics of Caddie and her brothers. Recently I gave a copy to my nine year old granddaughter who usually walks around with some electronic gadget. Once she began reading she was hooked and finished the book in one weekend. I cannot recommend this book highly enough. Even though the setting was many years ago, children are children and the appeal of this book transcends generations. A definite winner.
